Super Mario Bros X is a Mario fan game and level editor created by Andrew Spinks (aka Redigit). It allows users to create their own customizable Mario game without the need of advance programming skills. The level editor is packed with sprites derived from Super Mario All-Stars and Super Mario World, and even some from Legend of Zelda and Super Metroid. Once you have created a level, SMBX can run it and allow users to play.
Technically, SMBX isn't hard to customize. But for beginners, I have here the list of tutorials to get you through.
